Let me tell you about the role

The Engineering Team Data Analyst will support the Engineering Delivery Integration Team (Production) with driving and co-ordination of delivery of Engineering Services from Bp Solutions to BPs production organisation.

What you will deliver

• Work with BP "Connexus" system to Ensure that Engineering request cases are properly allocated to disciplines and support delivery management and monitoring of this work.
• Program / project management of discrete improvements / programs /activities related to different aspects of engineering. Work within guidelines of program management process to:
• Clearly define objectives of programs
• Clearly define value-based success KPIs
• Develop and supervise Implementation plans with key collaborators and SMEs
• Lead communications
• Handle partners
• Change management
• Value tracking
• Quality Assurance activities and close out
• Support performance management through implementation, measurement, and analysis of relevant KPI’s to drive continuous improvement
• Support with Engineering interface with Technology team as required
• Provide reporting of Engineering Data to business collaborators
• Have ability to interrogate and manipulate data and display via PowerBI to provide valuable insights to the fields
• Support 3rd party cost tracking for Engineering team

Must have educational qualifications:

• BSc or BEng (UK), BSc (US), or international equivalent in an engineering field

• BSc or BEng (UK), BSc (US), or international equivalent in an engineering field

Minimum years of proven experience:

• 2 to 5 years of relevant engineering experience

Must have experiences/skills:

• Interest and sound knowledge in a wide range of Engineering topics – willingness and ability to grasp new engineering concepts quickly
• Excellent communicator with ability to carefully listen to participants from varied communities and interpret into actionable plans (Proficient in English, written and oral)
• Confident to chair meetings, collect updates on plans, drive accountability with team members on work.
• Tenacity – ability to get things done and pull people together with a proven track record delivering business results. Ability to network and influence across organizational boundaries.
• Ability to analyse raw data/input, strong analytical skills & developing recommendations.
• Strong interest and some experience in Engineering Systems and Tools.
• Experienced Power Bi user (and other business analytics tools) with the ability to build reports / dashboards.
• Individual must be highly motivated and a self-starter and must also have a flexible mindset - prepared to flow to work to meet business demand and add value.

Good to have experiences/skills:

• Good Knowledge of working with Agile principles and tools – ADO experience preferable.
• Understanding of financial systems and tools.
• Willingness to learn / expand knowledge of digital systems and tools relating to engineering work.
