Job Description:

Role Summary -

The Ethics & Compliance Liaison – Concerns Management Specialist (E&C Specialist) supports the Mobility & Convenience, Americas (M&CA) Ethics & Compliance Liaison (ECL) in ensuring ethical standards and compliance processes are embedded and concerns are managed effectively by the business to mitigate risk. In partnership with Business Integrity, the E&C specialist ensures concerns are handled in accordance with BP’s Code of Conduct, policies, and applicable laws while maintaining independence, confidentiality, and objectivity.

Role responsibilities

  • Act as a resource for employees seeking guidance on ethical decision-making, and as the primary business stakeholder for M&CA’s E&C program regarding concerns management.

  • Review concerns referred to you and ensure timely documentation.

  • Regular collaboration and partnership with the ECL, business integrity (BI), Legal, People & Culture (P&C), and business leadership as a key stakeholder and advisor of the concerns management process.

  • Monitor trends and identify potential risk areas for proactive mitigation.

  • Support compliance with BP’s Code of Conduct, policies, and regulatory requirements, and training initiatives that focus on reporting mechanisms and non-retaliation policies.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Human Resources or related field

  • 5+ years of ethics and compliance experience

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and independence

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
