Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Solutions Lead Talent to drive the design, development, and implementation of modern talent solutions within BP PLC. This role is pivotal in redefining our talent landscape, demonstrating agile methodologies and a deep understanding of interpersonal needs to deliver impactful and balanced outcomes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of talent solution initiatives, from conceptualization and invent through to implementation and continuous improvement.
  • Apply Agility core practices to talent solution development, encouraging iterative delivery, continuous feedback, and adaptive planning.
  • Conduct detailed Market Scanning to identify emerging trends, technologies, and standard methodologies in talent management, incorporating relevant insights into solution design.
  • Apply Analytical Thinking and Data Analysis to assess current talent challenges, measure the efficiency of existing solutions, and advise future strategic decisions.
  • Employ Design Thinking principles to develop user-centric talent solutions that meet the diverse needs of our employees and business units.
  • Drive Business Development for new talent offerings, finding opportunities for innovation and expansion within the talent ecosystem.
  • Assume Product Ownership for assigned talent solutions, defining roadmaps, prioritizing features, and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Lead and encourage cross-functional teams, fostering effective Communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead Project and programme management activities for talent initiatives, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery.
  • Develop and implement robust Testing and quality assurance strategies for all talent solutions to ensure reliability and effectiveness.
  • Champion Leading transformation efforts within the talent domain, influencing collaborators and driving adoption of new practices and technologies.
  • Leverage deep Organizational Knowledge to ensure talent solutions are aligned with BP's overarching strategy, culture, and operational context.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and refinement of BP's overall Talent Strategy.
  • Supervise Configuration management and related processes for talent systems and platforms.
  • Apply User Experience Design principles to create intuitive, engaging, and efficient talent solutions for employees and managers.

Job Qualifications

  • Validated experience in a leadership role within talent management, HR technology, or a related field, with a strong focus on solution design and implementation.
  • Demonstrable expertise in Agility core practices and methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
  • Exceptional Analytical Thinking and Data Analysis skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Strong Business Development competence, with experience identifying and pursuing new opportunities.
  • Excellent Communication, presentation, and social skills, capable of influencing and engaging diverse collaborators.
  • Proficiency in Configuration management and related guidelines.
  • Extensive experience with Design Thinking methodologies and user-centered design principles.
  • Demonstrated ability in Leading transformation initiatives within a large, complex organization.
  • A track record of successful Market Scanning and incorporating external insights into strategic planning.
  • Deep Organizational Knowledge of a multinational corporation, preferably within the energy sector.
  • Validated experience in Product Ownership, including roadmap development and feature prioritization.
  • Strong capabilities in Project and programme management, with a track record of delivering successful projects.
  • Expertise in developing and implementing comprehensive Talent Strategy.
  • Proven understanding of Testing and quality assurance methodologies for talent solutions.
  • Proficiency in User Experience Design principles and tools.
