Job Summary

The Organizational Data Services Specialist at BP Business Solutions India will play a crucial role in managing and transforming organizational data to support strategic initiatives and operational efficiency. This position requires a blend of technical data management skills and strong collaborative abilities within a dynamic global environment.

Job Responsibilities

Data Management & Transformation:

Design, implement, and maintain robust data management solutions, including the extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes for various organizational data sources. Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and accessibility.
Analytical Support:

Apply strong analytical thinking to interpret complex datasets, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support business decisions.
Collaboration & Communication:

Work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and business units to understand data requirements, provide data-driven solutions, and effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Customer Service Design:

Contribute to the design and improvement of data-related services, focusing on enhancing the internal customer experience and ensuring data solutions meet organizational needs.
Innovation & Agility:

Champion creativity and innovation in data handling and service delivery. Embrace and promote Agility core practices within data-related projects and operations.
Global Perspective & Security:

Operate with a global perspective, understanding diverse data needs and regulatory requirements. Adhere strictly to Information Security policies and best practices to protect sensitive organizational data.
Organizational Knowledge & Change Management:

Leverage deep organizational knowledge to contextualize data insights. Actively participate in managing change related to data systems, processes, and service improvements, ensuring smooth transitions and adoption.
Project & Programme Management Support:

Contribute to the planning, execution, and monitoring of data-related projects and programmes, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives.
Employee and Labour Relations:

Understand and consider implications of data management and reporting on employee and labour relations, ensuring ethical and compliant data practices.

Job Qualifications

* Proven experience in data management, including strong proficiency in Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes.
* Demonstrated analytical thinking capabilities with a track record of deriving insights from complex data.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
* Strong customer service design orientation, focused on delivering high-quality data services.
* Experience or strong understanding of Agility core practices.
* A creative and innovative approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
* Familiarity with Information Security principles and best practices in a data context.
* Ability to operate with a global perspective and adapt to varied business contexts.
* Experience in managing change within an organizational setting.
* Solid understanding of organizational knowledge principles and their application.
* Exposure to or involvement in project and programme management activities.
* Awareness of employee and labour relations principles in data handling.
