Job Summary

The Technology Portfolio & Adoption Analyst plays a crucial role in optimizing BP's technology investments by supporting the evaluation, selection, and successful adoption of innovative solutions. This role bridges technical understanding with commercial acumen to drive value creation across the organization.

Job Responsibilities

* **Portfolio Analysis & Strategy:** Support the strategic origination and evaluation of new technology opportunities, utilizing economic evaluation methodologies and financial modelling to assess potential returns and risks.
* **Commercial & Investment Support:** Assist in investment appraisal processes, including joint venture structuring and market development activities, to maximize value from technology ventures.
* **Stakeholder Engagement & Influence:** Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, influencing decisions related to technology adoption and securing necessary internal approvals.
* **Negotiation & Agreement:** Participate in agreements and negotiations with technology partners and vendors, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
* **Data & Performance Management:** Utilize data visualization and interpretation skills to analyze technology portfolio performance, identify trends, and inform strategic decisions.
* **Value Creation & Adoption:** Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies for value creation and management from adopted technologies, including supporting prospecting and pipeline management activities.
* **Leadership & Collaboration:** Foster an inclusive environment, demonstrating influencing skills to drive collaboration across diverse teams and champion new technology initiatives.

Job Qualifications

* **Financial Acumen:** Proven experience in financial modelling, economic evaluation methodologies, and investment appraisal.
* **Commercial & Business Understanding:** Strong commercial acumen with experience in market development, joint venture structuring, and value creation and management.
* **Analytical & Data Skills:** Proficiency in data visualization and interpretation, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
* **Strategic & Origination Capabilities:** Experience in strategic origination and prospecting and pipeline management.
* **Negotiation & Influence:** Demonstrated skills in agreements and negotiations, influencing, and stakeholder management.
* **Process & Governance:** Understanding of internal approval processes and experience navigating complex organizational structures.
* **Leadership & Collaboration:** Inclusive leadership qualities with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.


Travel Requirement

Up to 10% travel should be expected with this role
