In this dynamic position as a Project Production Technician - Offshore, you’ll provide crucial support in ensuring a safe, reliable, and efficient offshore operations within the UCC Project. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, compliant, reliable operations ensuring that BP HSSE and Operating Subject area expectations are met.
- Monitor and control equipment and process and ensure that facility operations remain within the parameters stated in the Operations Manual/Procedures and communicate to the site leadership any deviation.
- Optimize plant and equipment performance and where options for plant optimization exist ensure they are raised with the site leadership and Operations Support team.
- Safe and efficient execution of operating tasks. (Comment: Operations routines, SOPs, basics care etc.)
- Adhere with all process safety aspects of operations and identify any gaps to compliance and seek approval. (Comment: Including SOPs, MOC, ORA, overrides, LO/LC valves, leaks and seeps, handovers, etc.)
- Deliver full compliance with all Control of Work requirements for the role. (Comment: Prepare and implement isolations, perform monitoring, integrity and pre-start-up checks, process line-ups, reinstatement after maintenance, etc.)
- Maintain an awareness of the site major risks and ongoing operational risks and informs site leadership of any emergent risks.
- Identify CI opportunities and participate in root cause failure investigations as required.
- Review work procedures as required ensuring accuracy of procedures used to operate plants and equipment.
- Provide operations recommendations to operations planning, projects and Operation preparation as well as supporting vendors and visitors as required.
- Provide recommendations for offshore SOP development.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma (D3) in technical degree.
- Proven working experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical company such as LNG Plant, Petrochemical and Refinery for S1 and for D3.
- Proven experience with demonstrated ability in offshore Oil & Gas operations (Platform).
- Strong knowledge of offshore production systems and safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret PFD and PID drawings besides offshore operating procedures.
- Experience in hazard analysis and offshore emergency response.
- As part of our Papuan Development commitment, we will give priority to Papuan applicants that meet the requirements.
- Assignment Type: This position is temporary based in Jakarta and will rotate to Tangguh prior Start- Up.
