Join Our Team a The Business Support Analyst plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of bp’s pricing operations. This role requires a strong understanding of Customer Policies, processes, systems, and tools to support Pricing Managers, Sales, Sales Support, and Finance teams.

You will be responsible for managing and validating pricing master data, ensuring compliance with Delegation of Authority (DoA), supporting pricing analytics, and resolving complex pricing and invoice-related queries. You will operate at country, cluster, or regional level and contribute to delivering high‑quality insights for decision-making.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage customer and support requests professionally from first contact to resolution.
  • Escalate activities that are not actioned within agreed timelines.
  • Contribute to individual, team, and organisational targets.
  • Demonstrate strong team collaboration, constructive communication, and active listening.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor and validate pricing master data, including: Customer hierarchy, Prices, discounts, rebates, Contracts, investments, promotions, Net Hard Floors (NHF), Target List Prices (TLP)
  • Ensure compliance with Customer Policies and Delegation of Authority for all pricing changes.
  • Manage escalations related to pricing and data discrepancies.
  • Support and resolve complex price or invoice-related issues.
  • Track SMART pricing initiatives and report progress to Pricing, Sales, and Marketing teams.
  • Monitor pricing waterfall implementation and pricing DoA across channels.
  • Produce pricing analytics and maintain price files and MI in line with regional standards.
  • Issue monthly/quarterly/annual MI and reporting with clear commentary.
  • Ensure pricing decisions are supported by accurate, fact‑based data.
  • Support implementation of customer policy within country/cluster/region.
  • Maintain high compliance levels and support market growth in complex B2B and B2C channels.
  • Work confidently with MI systems and advanced Excel models, even when data may be incomplete or requires assumptions.

What you will need to be successful:

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Customer Service or Finance
  • Pricing knowledge and understanding of pricing processes
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills
  • Proven ability to:
    • Meet tight deadlines
    • Adapt approach and style based on changing requirements
    • Manage conflicting priorities and negotiate timeframes
    • Build contingency plans to minimise disruptions
    • Foster a positive team environment and effectively share knowledge
  • Fluency in English
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • High proficiency in Excel
  • Intermediate proficiency in SAP and other systems
