We are currently looking for Assistant Manager - Quality Control based at Patalganga Plant with details mentioned below.
Let me tell you about the role!
The Assistant Manager – Quality will be responsible for supporting Quality Control and Quality Assurance
operations at the Patalganga manufacturing facility and 3rd party manufacturing site tagged to plant.
This role ensures full compliance with Global Quality standards, IATF certification requirements, legal and
lab safety protocols, and customer-specific expectations. The incumbent will take care of shift-level
quality management and take ownership of delivering key Cost saving & Continuous improvement
initiatives. Role needs to take ownership of Quality delivery from 3rd party manufacturing site and New
Product Introduction (NPI) feasibility review & commercialization at 3rd party manufacturing site
What will you deliver?
Shift Quality Management at Patalganga Plant
- Provide real-time quality support during shift operations. -Ensure accurate formulation verification and alignment of SCADA Blending software recipes with BOM
- (Bill of Material) in ERP -Upload label vision programs for new SKUs to ensure packaging accuracy. -Implement changes in ERP as per initiated change requests, ensuring system accuracy and traceability.
- Test plan updations in ERP -Develop and execute an annual QC testing plan for all blended products. Coordinate sample submission to TD and maintain a repository of test results.
3rd Party manufacturing site Quality oversight
- The role includes responsibility for quality performance at one of the third-party manufacturing sites aligned with the Patalganga plant.
- Conduct process and Quality critical equipment audits/health checks at the third-party site, maintain action repositories and ensure timely closure of identified gaps.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) feasibility assessments and provide commercialization support.
What will make you successful?
Educational Qualification / Certification:
5-8 years of Laboratory / Quality Control / Quality assurance experience is essential.
Familiarity with blending/batch manufacturing processes, QC /QA exposure in lubricant/Paint /FMCG is
desired
Knowledge / Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical Engineering/M.SC in Chemistry
- Language fluency in Marathi, Hindi and English (Written and spoken)
- Knowledge of QMS requirements, Six sigma methodologies
- Good communication skills with the ability to liaise directly with internal customers and external
- parties.
- Laboratory skills include safety leadership, analytical techniques and practices, and problems
- solving, Lab trails & validations using DOE
- Digital fluency in Office 365 tools
- Need to work in shifts to support the operations

Internal: Operations Team, supply and Distribution Team, Engineering team, Corporate Quality and Technology Deployment (R&D) Team
External: Customers and Consumers, Third Party Manufacturing and Lab Equipment Vendors
