We are currently looking for Project Manager - Engineering based in Silvassa Plant with details mentioned below.
Let me tell you about the role!
The key purpose of this position is ;
Plan, coordinate and safely handle projects & construction related activities in the plant
Meet project timelines, quality of execution & efficient at the same time meeting the HSSE expectations.
Maintain collaborative relations in plant to ensure smooth execution of projects.
Liaison with suppliers & contractors for timely delivery of goods and services.
Forecast and manage committed cashflow plan
What will you deliver:
• Working collaboratively with design engineers, operation engineers, suppliers and other internal staff. Sound knowledge of review of basic and detail engineering build and documents.
• Project management within cost and time-constrained environments. preparing project estimates & forecasting. Good knowledge of front-end loading of the project.
• In depth knowledge in assessing & analyzing P&ID, PFDs
• Good solid understanding of soft tools like AutoCAD, Project planning tool and Microsoft office etc.
• Understanding, applying updated statutory compliance with health and safety; regulations in which work is undertaken.
• Providing technical & functional advice and support to contractors at site
• Participate in vendor discussion and support developing technical and commercial evaluation.
• Developing and applying standards and specifications/ review for Procurements.
• Installation and commissioning process of static and rotating equipment
• Developing new business proposals in consultation with site engineering team
• Creativity and innovation- Ability to think “out of the box” and design innovative solutions.
• Open thinking, networking, and personal efficiency.
• Proficiency in English and Hindi. Knowledge of Gujarati will be an advantage
• Act as BP Job Representative for the contracts. Liaise and communicate with the Contractor’s Job Representative over fulfilment of responsibilities detailed within the contract, verify that hazards are identified, and controls are implemented, and conduct inspections & audits of the contract work
• Sound knowledge norms and international standards like API/ASME/EN / ISO etc.
• Basic understanding for developing and review of project QA plans ie. NDT testing process for Tank/Pipeline fabrication quality assurance techniques/welding qualification/inspection techniques etc.
• Construction activities like Excavation, lifting operation, Fabrication & Hot work and working at height etc
• Permit system for construction activities
• Basic understanding to develop and apply Risk assessment processes like High Risk activities risk assessment, HAZOP, FMEA etc and management of change processes.
• Basic functional understanding of industrial equipment typical to process plant
• Good understanding of project performance management and reporting.
• Regular bills processing to ensure meeting project cashflow targets.
