We are currently looking for Industrialization Manager based at Mumbai with details mentioned below.
· Drive, implement and optimize RM (Raw Material) and formulation value engineering programs to increase flexibility and optionality in product offerings.
· Work closely with the Global Competitiveness efforts within the Product Portfolio Delivery (PPD) construct as the Single Point of Accountability (SPA) for the INSA PU in RM/Industrialization space.
· Work with the cross functional team to continuously improve product formulations, ensuring that products are cost-competitive while meeting or exceeding quality standards
· Champion risk-based decision-making in product development to optimize Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and create flexibility in product features to maintain competitiveness in the market
· Support and in certain circumstances, drive flexibility and optionality in base oil selection, ensuring that the manufacturing plants can adapt to market fluctuations, regulatory changes, and sourcing constraints while maintaining product performance.
· Develop strategies to enhance base oil fungibility and reduce dependency on any single raw material, optimizing production efficiency and cost-effectiveness across manufacturing facilities.
· Work closely with procurement and technology to implement innovative sourcing strategies that enhance competitiveness and cost efficiency across the value chain.
· Collaborate with internal teams, including technology, marketing, S&OP Planning, and procurement, to ensure that product formulations align with market demands and cost objectives
· Continuously analyze competitor activities, product portfolios, and market trends to identify new opportunities for cost optimization and competitiveness improvements.
· Provide insights into the competitive landscape to inform product strategy, innovation, and cost management decisions.
Key Performance Metrics:
· Drive Annual COGS reduction through optimized formulations, raw material sourcing, and manufacturing improvements.
· Support cost optimization programs, meeting targeted savings annually.
· Support base oil flexibility and optimization across manufacturing plants, enhancing production efficiency and reducing dependency on specific raw materials.
· Foster strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with business goals and delivering projects on-time and within budget.
