Job Description:
As a Technical Lead – SAP Platform, you will demonstrate strong technical leadership and governance over a high-performing team responsible for the delivery and support of SAP solutions. This role exists to ensure the implementation of best practices, technical standards, and end-to-end ownership of SAP projects and operations. You will be the primary point of contact for all technical issues, driving cost efficiency and ensuring seamless delivery aligned with business objectives. Your impact will be felt across the organization by enabling reliable, scalable, and innovative SAP solutions that support bp’s digital transformation and operational excellence.
Key Accountabilities
Govern and lead the SAP technical team, ensuring adherence to standards and best practices to deliver high-quality solutions.
Take ownership of end-to-end delivery for SAP projects and operations, ensuring timely and effective outcomes.
Act as the primary point of contact for all technical issues, providing expert guidance and resolution.
Drive cost efficiency across SAP platforms and related services, identifying opportunities for optimization.
Ensure compliance with architectural, security, and regulatory standards in all technical deliverables.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing within the team.
Essential Experience and Job Requirements
Demonstrable capability as a Technical Lead, with experience governing technical teams and delivering complex SAP solutions.
Deep expertise in SAP, ABAP, Fiori, and RISE Platform.
Proven track record of end-to-end project delivery, technical issue resolution, and stakeholder management.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
Experience driving cost efficiency and process optimization in technical environments.
Desirable Criteria
Knowledge of SAP EHS Incident Management.
Experience with cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure) and service optimization.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools.
Exposure to project management and cross-team collaboration.
