We are currently looking for Executive- Quality Control based at Paharpur Plant with details mentioned below.
Let me tell you about the role!
The role is responsible for testing Lubes, Blend study and upkeep of equipment while maintaining the lab discipline and 5S of the Lab. Incumbent is also responsible for working as per bp Lab safety practices.
What you will deliver
•Take responsibility to ensure the product integrity by effective management of formulation & batch log sheet strictly as per ‘Fusion’ as well as ‘Keris’ approved blends.
• Testing of Finished Product Lubricants, Raw materials, packaging material by following as per IP/ASTM /internal methods.
• Support in manufacturing new products by preparation of lab blends /1st production /stability test /QC in co-ordination with GLT and Central QC and effective implementation of Management of Change for new Products /Formulation changes
• In charge of AMC’s & calibration of laboratory instruments
• Support the HSSE and Quality improvement initiatives in the plant
• On the Job Training & Competency Upgradation of QC chemists
• Support Trials at Plant and IRPL
• Provide testing support to Customer Complaint, TMO samples, Slob samples, Enforcement sample by timely testing & release the report.
• Assist in Q-standard & Quality Manual Requirements Implementation in Paharpur plant and 3P site.
• Lead to ensure the Laboratory Housekeeping, all the safety aspect & create a safe work atmosphere for Team as well as all the plant members.
• Ensure the work permit system & the Control of work process related to QC are followed as per the procedures
• To support QC executives and the supply chain function in Quality control & Quality assurance of lubricants as well as upkeep, auditing and improvement in the ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 systems.
•Legally required training to be completed as per the Ethics and Compliance calendar and any other mandatory programs would be assigned from time to time.
What will make you successful
Education: Should have a graduate degree with honors in Chemistry (Organic/Analytical) or a graduate in Chemical Engineering.
Experience: Minimum 3 years’ post qualification experience in Oil Industry in similar position
Language: English, Hindi
The role must focus in controlling cost of blend formulation through generating reports of blend deviations using software support of the organization.
