As a Planning & Performance Senior SME , you will play a critical role in developing financial forecasts, delivering business planning insights, and supporting executive-level decision-making. This position involves partnering with business and finance teams across multiple geographies to gain a deep understanding of the business context and create financial products that drive performance and commercial value.
You will need strong analytical skills, excellent stakeholder engagement capabilities, and the ability to manage conflicting priorities while delivering high-quality outputs.
In this role You will:
- Performance Management: Prepare accurate and timely management information to support decision-making. Develop forecasts, analyze variances, and provide actionable insights to leadership.
- Financial Modelling: Build and refine financial models to forecast business outcomes and support scenario planning.
- Business Partnering: Collaborate with finance and business teams globally, resolve issues, and contribute to strategic discussions.
- Actuals Analysis: Review monthly actuals, perform variance analysis, and ensure data integrity.
- Business Planning: Support multi-year and in-year planning processes, quarterly updates, and prepare presentation materials using Excel, Power BI, and SAP systems.
- Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure seamless execution and promote cross-team collaboration.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance performance management processes and digital solutions.
What You will need to be successful:
Essential Education
Education:
- Business/Finance degree or equivalent.
- Preferred: Master’s degree or professional certifications (MBA, CA, CIMA, ACCA).
Experience:
- 5+ years in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Experience in large-scale, global, matrix organizations (preferably oil & gas, retail, manufacturing, or logistics).
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of financial statements (P&L, cash flow).
- Expertise in performance management and business planning processes.
- Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft tools, and visualization platforms (Power BI).
- Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
- Digital literacy and analytical capabilities.
Language: Fluent English.
