Job Description:

Location: Senegal
Role: Mechanical Technician

Are you passionate about keeping things running efficiently? Join our team in Senegal as a Mechanical Technician and play a key role in maintaining the reliability and performance of our mechanical systems. Your work will help ensure safe operations, reduce downtime, and support continuous improvement across the plant.

Work Schedule:

  • 28-day offshore rotation followed by a 28-day field break

  • Standard 12-hour shifts

What You’ll Do:

Perform mechanical maintenance and inspections while following safety and work control procedures, your attention to detail keeps everyone safe!

  • Fix and repair mechanical systems to restore performance and prevent future issues.

  • Make smart, cost-aware decisions and suggest ways to improve efficiency—your ideas matter!

  • Use our maintenance management system to support better planning and execution.

  • Track and report maintenance performance using clear metrics to help us improve.

  • Prepare equipment for maintenance and complete tasks on time—your reliability keeps us moving!

  • Collaborate with other teams to reduce downtime and optimize resources.

  • Prioritize and handle tasks efficiently, using your time and tools wisely.

  • Keep accurate records of work progress and results to support visibility and planning.

  • Help boost equipment reliability by identifying issues early and recommending solutions.

What You Bring:

  • Experience in mechanical maintenance within an industrial setting.

  • Strong understanding of safety procedures and control systems.

  • Ability to make cost-effective decisions and support performance goals.

  • Knowledge of mechanical systems like hydraulics, pneumatics, and rotating/static equipment.

  • Familiarity with maintenance management systems and performance tracking tools.

  • Great documentation skills and a collaborative mentality.
