We are currently looking for Supply Planning Manager - Raw Material based in Mumbai and details mentioned.

Let me tell you about the role:

This role is primarily accountable for planning of Raw materials (Base Oil, Additive & Chemicals & Packaging Materials) sourced at our manufacturing locations. It works towards creating resilient & efficient supply side operations through enhancing RM availability alongside optimizing Inventory thus supporting the agenda of Customer service & Working capital. The role focusses on ensuring robust planning processes, supervising / facilitating execution and is supported by a team to deliver the same.

What you will deliver:

· RM Planning Process - Ensure planning processes are robust & are reflective of the real business environment.
· RM Planning Activity – Ensure the team delivers robust RM purchase & distribution plans within expected timelines. Follow up the same for rigorous execution whilst highlighting & solving the challenges posed.
· Working capital management – Establish the right levels of RM safety stocks and overall inventory levels to deliver the target (production) service levels. Ensure that working capital plans are delivered monthly, quarterly and at year end to support the business cash flow targets.
· Crisis and continuity of supply disruptions, including participation on IMT’s and other crisis forums to drive through to resolution mitigating actions
· Support the agenda of Strategic sourcing by drawing long term executable plans minimizing costs simultaneously protecting outage risks. Refreshing these plans with changes in business environment for suitable changes in sourcing strategy.
· Efficiency and Cost Reduction – Identify & lead opportunities to reduce costs in short term by BOM Management
· Maximizing Value & Optimizing Resources
· Ensure that sourcing decisions for trade-off between Cash & Costs are done transparently
· Optimal allocation of company assets i.e. Inventory, Physical Tanks are deployed in line with the overall Business strategy to maximize performance
· Minimize the RM SLOBS inventory by accurate planning, managing changeovers & refreshing safety stocks as per agreed frequency
· Supporting strategic NPI / Value engineering projects for supply side capability
· FG SLOB Management – Own the deployment of BP SLOB policy and driving continuous improvements in reduction of FG SLOB levels.
· Own the master data management piece to ensure supply planning master data is accurate and reflects reality, and regular reviews are in place to drive improvements.
· Support the agenda of people capability by working with team members on developmental front.
· The role is encouraged to work closely with the Country Planning Manager on functional excellence inputs and work on creating planning capability on a sustained basis.
· Key Result Area include RM & PM availability (Schedule adherence loss), Inventory performance (incl. SLOBS), IFOT, joint accountability of NPI with marketing, Master data accuracy, with joint accountability with manufacturing for factory schedule adherence (FSA)

Education


· University degree, MBA or equivalent specialization in Supply Chain MgManagement preferred
· Supply Planning Accreditation (APICS or similar) preferred


Experience
· 8 + years of Supply Chain experience (preferably FMCG) especially in Production Planning & Distribution
· Exposure to Import planning & procedures shall be advantageous
Skills & Competencies
· Significant understanding/awareness of supply chain management function
· Must be able to work well under pressure and manage conflict effectively
· Good analytical and problem solving skills
· Computer literacy and numeric skills
· Excellent interpersonal, team working and influencing skills
· Strong communication skills

Base oil suppliers, Additive suppliers, Warehouse teams.

Up to 10% travel should be expected with this role
