About the role

Production Supervisor is accountable for ensuring safe operations and maintaining production levels in accordance with established policies, procedures, and budgets. This includes direct supervision of operators working on equipment such as pumps, valves, tanks, compressors, and other process units. The role requires coordination with maintenance teams to schedule repairs and ensure smooth operation of equipment. Additionally, this individual will monitor product quality and quantity, perform administrative duties, and communicate with other departments to resolve operational issues.

What you will deliver

Manage and coordinate the activities of assigned personnel engaged in oil handling and storage operations;

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines, including conducting safety meetings and audits;
  • Oversee daily shift operations, including start-up and shutdown procedures;
  • Supervise and control equipment performance, including pumps, valves, and other processing units;
  • Maintain accurate records of production, inventory, and equipment performance;
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs with maintenance personnel;
  • Implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce waste;
  • Communicate with management regarding budget requirements and proposals;

What you will need to be successful

  • Demonstrated ability in oil handling and storage operations (min. 5 years)
  • Ability to work safely and efficiently while adhering to all safety protocols
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong leadership abilities, with the capacity to motivate and guide staff
  • Knowledge of computer software programs, particularly Excel and Word
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
  • Experience in monitoring and controlling equipment performance
  • Good understanding of production processes and industry standards
  • Minimum 2 years of proven track record to effectively lead people and resources
