About the role

Castrol TUCA Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for all performance management, forecasting and reporting activities across the Cluster and will ensure timely and accurate provision of Management Information & Decision Support. This includes gross margin, LBM actuals and forecast (B/S, Cash and RCOP), scenario planning, Country P&L & cost allocations. The role will also identify and propose performance interventions and support their implementation and delivery. The Castrol TUCA Performance Advisor will build and maintain a proactive business partnering relationship between Finance and the Cluster Sales Director, directly collaborating with the cluster leadership team.

What you will deliver

  • Perform in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, forecasting, and budgeting, to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Maintain finance models to support strategic decision-making and evaluate business initiatives.
  • Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and actionable insights.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with various departments to understand business needs and provide financial mentorship and support.
  • Apply data visualization and interpretation techniques to communicate sophisticated financial information clearly and optimally.
  • Proactively identify and assess financial risks, developing mitigation strategies and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and reporting, embracing agility core practices.
  • Exercise strong commercial competence to support business partners in making financially sound decisions.
  • Engage in credit management activities as required, ensuring healthy cash flow and minimizing risk.
  • Champion customer-centric thinking within financial planning and analysis, aligning financial goals with customer needs.
  • Support and handle change initiatives within the finance function and across the organization.
  • Present financial findings and recommendations to diverse audiences with confidence and clarity.
  • Contribute to sustainability awareness and initiatives in the department.

What you will need to be successful

  • Recognised national or international professional accountancy qualification e.g. CIMA, ACCA, ACA, CPA.
  • Absolute proficiency in “business English” is mandatory.
  • A skilful understanding of finance, business operations
  • Extensive experience of reporting and MI processes (actuals, RF & plan) with a focus on performance analysis and intervention
  • Ability to quickly assess areas requiring attention and/or intervention, with a strong demonstration of business partnering to drive business performance.
  • Strong impact, interpersonal and communication skills with proven capability to influence peers & leadership in order to make a significant contribution to the business. Able to deal effectively at all levels within the organisation.
  • Able to assimilate data to identify key issues and aid decision making, able to anticipate future situations and plan ahead to meet them.
  • Looks for ways to do things better, faster and more efficiently.
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience role in finance or strategy
  • Expert on SAP & PowerBi
  • FMCG, Energy &Oil sector experiences preferred
