The Early Careers programmes across all disciplines are a three-year programme tailored to each graduate and their Discipline, including a real job from day one, a detailed technical and non-technical experience roadmap and a development framework that that encourages breadth and depth.
Mechanical Engineer
Mechanical engineers support our operations around the world. They work for ensuring the correct selection, specification, and construction of mechanical equipment and systems, as part of building new facilities or modifying existing assets. They work also to develop maintenance strategy, monitoring equipment performance, and investigating operational difficulties. There are also roles working as a technical specialist advising operations on particular aspects of mechanical engineering.
About you
As a bp graduate, you will have an interest and/or skill in delivering economic value back to a business, identifying solutions and strategies resulting in cost savings and a natural negotiation style. No matter where you work at bp, you’ll be valued, included, and

This graduate position is based in Jakarta office.
To be eligible to apply to the graduate positions, you:
• Have willingness to learn, passion to excel and deliver results
• Have recently graduated from Bachelors (S1) or Masters (S2) or Doctoral (S3) program or will be graduating by August 2026
• Applicants with less than 2 years professional working experience may also apply
