Job Description:
You will be working with the Integrity Management team who are responsible for the update, assessment, and analysis of inspection and integrity management of piping and static mechanical equipment. The pressure system integrity engineer has the responsibility for assuring the integrity of topsides pressure systems including pipework, pressure vessels and heat exchangers. It is achieved by undertaking thorough examination or inspection to ensure that they comply with current regulatory and statutory requirements. PSI Engineer will ensure the activity from planning for inspection, inspection execution, and anomaly management are effectively managed to reduce the risk. The materials & corrosion engineer is responsible for offering their expertise in corrosion and materials engineering, providing critical judgment to support the Region integrity teams in managing engineering risks and ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the facilities. These roles include collaboration with other specialists to determine the appropriate inspection method as per the identified damage mechanisms, mitigation plan and repair plan should you find anomalies during inspection. The precise nature of your role and project will be determined by your skills as well as the needs of the business but your responsibilities include: • Working on projects and supporting your team to find the best solutions • Helping to maintain performance within your team and for bp as a company • Building relationships both within bp and with our external partners, collaborating across functions, segments and teams to deliver excellence. • Demonstrating drive and dedication through the bp values with an emphasis on safety
