Job Overview:
Reporting directly to the Head of Trade Planning, Support and Proposition Development, the Support Lead will be responsible for maintaining the central SAP system, resolving store scanning issues through the Shops & Valeting Helpdesk, supporting the trading team in all aspects of buying administration and communication to sites, implementing all promotional activity on to SAP. The role covers circa 311 retail sites, implementing price changes based on the pricing strategy agreed by the Buyers. Provide effective support to the Branded Buying, Food Service, Partnership Management, and Offer Development & Sustainability teams in matters of product set-up, price, promo, and cost management
Shift Timing: 1:30PM to 10:30PM IST
Role & Responsibilities:
Responsible for supporting the Trading team in all aspects of Trading administration
Responsible for maintaining the central SAP system, supporting the trading team in all aspects of buying administration and communication to sites, and implementing all monthly and ad hoc promotional activity to ensure we have a great offer for customers
Work alongside all trading functions to drive and support efficiencies and profitability, and ensure we deliver the best offer to bp customers
Drive continuous improvement by working closely with IT&S and CVP&E to assess all opportunities for automation of processes and procedures
Provide best in class support to Store Operations, resolving store issues within agreed SLA's through the Shops & Valeting Helpdesk and TSOL
Manage all Trading costs and budgets, including revex, and monthly re-forecasting and invoicing of supplier income
Manage the invoice matching process
Manage/coach the country/cluster trading support team (people, capabilities, and development plans)
Experience & Qualification:
Proven Strong analytical skills
Retail Marketing experience
Expert knowledge of SAP
Ability to both conceptualise and translate key concepts into operational actions.
Good standard of communication and influencing skills.
3 years’ experience working in a FMCG business desirable
Commercial experience in a trading environment essential
Third-party management experience essential
Strong relationship management skills
Track record in continuous improvement
