Bp's customers & products (C&P) business area is setting up a business and technology centre (BTC) in Pune, India. This will support the delivery of an enhanced customer experience and drive innovation by building global capabilities at scale, demonstrating technology, and developing deep expertise. The BTC will be a core and connected part of our business, bringing together colleagues who report into their respective part of C&P, working together with other functions across bp. About the Role

The Project Controls Advisor reports to the Retail Project Controls Lead and supports the execution of all day-to-day project and portfolio activities for retail asset management. You will be responsible for the ongoing monitoring and improvements of existing processes to deliver on simplification and efficiencies across asset management project controls and delivery. You will support the ongoing improvements centered around real time reporting and analysis of asset project management and cost controls.

What you will deliver

  • Project and portfolio level reporting and forecasting

  • Accrual calculations and submission to Finance on a regular basis

  • Project controls KPI development and monitoring

  • Ensure ongoing data alignment between Smartsheet (forecasting) and bp's project management system

  • Ongoing support and interfacing with function team members to inquire on and progress project activities to delivery

  • Miscellaneous and special projects as required

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

Experience & Skills:

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills

  • Strong excel skills

  • MS PowerBI experience a plus

  • Experience with SAP and capable of running basic reporting

  • Technically savvy and self-sufficient when it comes to various IT / software platforms

  • Comfortable presenting and talking to client senior leadership

  • Looks for proactive ways to identify opportunities to add value to client

  • Shift timings - 4:30 pm to 1:30 am IST with a flexibility to take the business calls as and when required during the week.

You will work with key stakeholders as:

  • Procurement - contract administration

  • Finance - financial reporting, platform support and payment processing, accrual calculations and submissions

  • Asset Management leaders - cross-functional project management and ways of working

  • Business leadership - tactical project management and delivery with an asset need
