Job Description:

As bp transitions to an integrated energy company, we must adapt to a changing world and maintain competitive performance. Bp's customers & products (C&P) business area is setting up a business and technology centre (BTC) in Pune, India. This will support the delivery of an enhanced customer experience and drive innovation by building global capabilities at scale, demonstrating technology, and developing deep expertise. The BTC will be a core and connected part of our business, bringing together colleagues who report into their respective part of C&P, working together with other functions across bp. Job Summary:

The business process analyst will be responsible for analyzing and documenting the current state of various processes across the business, identifying areas for improvement, and designing and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. The role involves collaborating with customers to understand their requirements, conducting data analysis to identify trends and insights, and developing recommendations to drive business decisions.

Shift Timing: 12:30pm to 9:30pm

Key Responsibilities:


• Find opportunities for process improvements through analysis of existing workflows and identification of inefficiencies or bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to gather requirements and understand business needs.
• Develop detailed business requirements and user stories based on gathered requirements.
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends and insights that can inform business decisions.
• Design and develop process maps, flowcharts, and other documentation to illustrate current and future states of processes.
• Create functional specifications and user manuals to support system implementations.
• Deliver training and support to end users on new processes and systems.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of implemented solutions to ensure they meet desired outcomes.

Experience and Qualifications:


• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a business analyst or similar role.
• Solid understanding of business process modeling techniques and methodologies.
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels of management.
• Ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Experience with project management software such as JIRA or Trello.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and SDLC.
• Familiarity with commercial planning and investment appraisal processes.
• Understanding of integrated planning and performance management principles.
