This is an information security specialist role supporting new business, joint ventures and cyber operating risk.
The DGRC organization fosters a culture of transparency, accountability, and trust by promoting good governance, effective risk management, and regulatory compliance. These capabilities help bp balance security with usability, optimize technology investments, and proactively counter cyber threats.
Let me tell you about the role
You will support the delivery of cyber due diligence against acquisitions, new business ventures and investments working closely with the digital delivery teams as we integrate acquired businesses into the bp digital estate and digital security lines of service. You will support the delivery of cyber operating risk assessments, as well as joint assurance visits to bp operating assets and support the non-operated joint ventures (NOJV) and the exposure risk assessments.
What you will deliver
Support due diligence projects for acquisitions and new business ventures
Support integration activities for acquired companies
Work with our partners in the delivery of cyber operating risk assessments and joint assurance visits
Support our non-operated joint venture (NOJV) teams in assessing the exposure risk to bp
Provide domain expertise to asset managers and board members of the NOJVs
What you will need to be successful (experience and qualifications)
You’ll have a tertiary level education and/or equivalent relevant work experience.
Significant experience in a similar information security role for a large-scale organization
Experience conducting due diligence assessments for cyber security
Experience supporting digital integration projects
Experience of cyber security in an environment with operational technology
Experience forming effective and collaborative partnerships with other digital teams and external partners
