Let me tell you about the role
The Raw Material Planning Coordinator is a member of the Plant Raw & Packs Material and Scheduling Team and responsible for all raw material planning activities in the plant
Ensuring raw material planning activities as weekly, monthly and long term
Ensuring that raw materials are ordered & called of inline with production plan
Scope of Activity: Call-off Raw Materials aligned with production plan, Contact with Supplier to inform them for future perspective.
What you will deliver
Providing up-to date material requirements planning on SAP APO & Kinaxis and analyzing short and long-term forecasts/production plans to optimize supply plans in accordance with Supply chain strategic plans and financial key performance indicators.
Preparing Raw Material Projections by taking planning outputs, stocks and consumptions. Coordinating necessary actions to achieve the determined targets.
Coordinating SKU Management process for phase-in and out components by closely working with Technology department and optimize plans with customers so as to minimize write-off stock value and supervising required actions with them.
Controlling the amount of alternative BOM’s on SAP and in case of any shortage or exceed stock position sharing alternative BOM’s with relevant teams.
Tracking formula changes requests and project transitions and coordinating vital actions with their team and sharing outputs with relevant teams. In case of any delay, sharing the impact with their Line Manager.
Coordinating clarification of Supplier Past Due Order with related suppliers and their team.
Coordinating required calls/activities with Supplier and Castrol Quality team in case of any quality problems and also sharing the impact of each failures with their Line Manager, Suppliers and other relevant teams.
Leading prototype/sample request process with supplier after taking requests from Technology department and coordinating process by closely working with Quality and other relevant teams.
Sharing long term forecasts with related suppliers and getting approvals from them and reporting to their Line manager in case of any potential shortage risks.
Attending SWAT Meetings weekly and take related actions by using Kanban Board for New Product Implementations (NPI) and local projects such as localization and formulation changes.
Following up RM allocations for Castrol Gemlik by closely working with Procurement team.
Coordinating vessel transportations by taking account firmed orders and expected arrival time. Sharing critical informations with relevant teams in case of any changes related with vessel and its due date.
Ensuring correct parameters are under Purchase Info Records on SAP and updating in case of any changes by closely working with Procurement team.
Coordinating new supplier identification process on SAP by closely working with Procurement team and related supplier.
Ensuring that the count differences are reduced and increased from the system by making SAP entries, ensuring the coordination of the physical stock counts with the field and informing the relevant customers in case of transfer between warehouses, and ensuring that necessary transactions are made in SAP.
Preparing GEKAP - Recovery Contribution Share report based on RM components and sharing with Finance team.
Checking and correcting Tank Farm Allocations and creating MOC’s and informing relevant teams for tank change suggestions. Ensuring whole required SLoc’s are also on SAP, and they are defined to the correct RM articles.
Controlling stock positions of obsolete articles and providing correct articles and their related batches are in the correct SLoc’s and also ensuring those articles are in the Appreciation Commission list which are coordinated with Finance team.
Controlling and reporting SLED informations of RM components and sharing with Quality team to take required actions on time.
Understanding and applying processes and requirements established in BP's Operating Management System (OMS) for safe and reliable operations.
Handling or acting as project team member for Raw materials related project activities.
Enforce planning capabilities regularly with Continuous approach attitude and improve Supplier resilience to prevent supplier related disruptions.
Supporting Finance & Accounting team during suppliers’ accounts reconcilement process.
Supporting marketing campaigns and product revisions in collaboration with sales & marketing teams.
Analyzing raw material prices and update product costs and share them with related customers.
Preparing the required reports according to customer requirements such as Ford and sharing them with relevant customers.
Leading monthly reports which are in line with Castrol Business Strategy and monitoring progress by involving relevant team/teams with PDCA cycle.
Ensuring whole material planning activities are made in SAP APO and Kinaxis tools and participating global meetings to get new insights and implementing new updates and perspectives on those tools
What you will need to be successful
Education:
Preferably Engineering degree in Industrial Engineering.

- Knowledge of industrial relations and legal basics (relevant regulations & Labor law)
- Fluency in oral and written English
- Computer Literacy in MS Office especially Excel, Word and Power Point
- SAP /ERP/ Kinaxis knowledge, user
