In the APAC region, a supply chain leader takes charge of planning operations to make sure products reach customers smoothly and efficiently. They work closely with market Planning & Logistics teams to lead demand forecasting, supply planning, distribution, and inventory management—using Kinaxis and collaborating to deliver results.
As the planning expert for the region, they help standardize processes, roll out new systems, and bring digital tools to life. With support from the Centre of Excellence and the PU Supply Chain Manager, they ensure planning is consistent, smart, and future-ready.
Beyond daily operations, they also lead key projects—optimizing the supply network, launching new products, and simplifying the portfolio. By working across teams and markets, they help build a supply chain that’s agile, efficient, and ready to meet customer needs.
Key Accountabilities
Lead S&OP Process: Develop and deploy the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process across the Planning Unit (PU).
Performance Consolidation: Own the consolidation of PU-level performance metrics including supply and demand planning, inventory, forecast accuracy, cost to serve, NPI, service levels (IFOT), and operating working capital (OWC).
Strategic Initiatives: Take full accountability for global and HUB tenders, network optimization, and new product introductions (NPI) across all APAC markets, in collaboration with FBT and BTC.
Process Standardization: Establish and maintain standardized demand and supply planning processes aligned with digital transformation efforts led by the Centre of Excellence (COE).
Kinaxis Issue Resolution: Manage and resolve issues related to Kinaxis planning systems—including data integrity, system errors, and deployment challenges—with support from Hub Operations and market Planning & Logistics leads.
Inventory Management: Develop and implement strategies to manage inventory health (including SLOBs) and Days of Coverage (DOC), aligned with 5-year roadmap targets.
Working Capital Optimization: Identify and drive structured inventory reduction opportunities to improve working capital and cash flow performance.
Performance Management: Lead operational performance tracking through indicators, driving efficiency and continuous improvement across planning functions in all PU markets.
Global Representation: Represent the PU in global forums focused on Integrated Management Teams (IMT), planning processes, and digital transformation.
Supply Allocation Leadership: Lead PU-level IMT efforts to address supply challenges and stock allocations, establishing data-driven decision-making frameworks.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field, with 10+ years of experience in the lubricants, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or chemical industry.
- A graduate degree or equivalent experience or MBA is highly desirable.
- Professional certifications such as APICS or MCIPS are an added advantage.
Experience
- Proven experience in Supply Chain Planning, with the capability to manage complex, multi-plant, multi-depot, and multi-market operations.
- Strong background in Demand Planning is preferred.
- Exposure to Kinaxis or other advanced supply chain planning systems is a plus.
- Hands-on experience in multi-country supply chain operations, including warehousing, logistics, and project management.
- Skilled in managing third-party relationships and navigating complex supply chain networks.
- Demonstrated understanding of safety management principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.

- Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects.
- Advanced proficiency in:
- Supply Chain Planning: DRP, MPS, MRP, S&OP, inventory management, and supply processes.
- People Leadership, Commercial Acumen, and Problem Solving.
- Core supply chain functions: Logistics, HSSE, and Warehousing.
