Job Description:

This role supports the successful delivery of Global Supply Chain (GSC) commitments in APAC by leading cost competitiveness programs such as OCC, PCC, and Value 100. You’ll manage dependencies across teams, schedules, and business functions to ensure smooth execution.

You’ll also drive transformation across the APAC GSC by improving ways of working, building strong communication channels with markets, and advancing sustainability and critical initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of cost competitiveness programs (OCC, PCC, Value 100, and other value drivers) across APAC’s Global Supply Chain (GSC).
  • Supervise project assurance, prioritization, resource allocation, and financial outcomes across APAC markets.
  • Act as the key contact between the Central Team and GSC PU, ensuring smooth program execution and alignment with global functions.
  • Champion continuous improvement and build a high-performing, diverse workforce focused on delivering committed savings.
  • Develop a competitiveness roadmap for APAC markets, setting up working groups and change agents to embed cost-conscious thinking into benchmarks and culture.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of cost-reduction projects using LA/LE principles for long-term operational efficiency.
  • Design and implement frameworks for global supply chain programs (OCC, LA/LE, Loss workshops), ensuring benefits are tracked and realized.
  • Apply rigorous project portfolio management and planning standards (PMO).
  • Drive sustainability initiatives aligned with Castrol’s strategy across the supply chain.
  • Lead industrialisation and Value 100 initiatives to boost operational excellence and cost efficiency.
  • Establish effective communication frameworks and deploy GSC ways of working across the region.
  • Support strategy implementation and governance processes, including exception handling.
  • Integrate HSE and wellbeing into all cost and continuous improvement activities across APAC.

Qualifications & Experience

Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience or equivalent, ideally with substantial experience in the lubricants, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or chemical industry. Strong functional and leadership capabilities are essential to lead large-scale global supply chain transformation initiatives.

Experience:

  • 10+ years in senior leadership roles, with a proven ability to influence and collaborate across multiple partners.
  • Deep expertise in end-to-end supply chain operations, with a strong track record in leading teams and driving transformational change.
  • Demonstrated success in commercial strategy and business transformation.
  • Strong judgment and discretion in managing sensitive business matters.
  • Advanced analytical, integration, and project management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with the potential to contribute meaningfully to the broader Global Supply Chain (GSC) agenda.
  • Skilled in coaching, ambitious, and influencing across subject areas and senior leadership levels.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in complex environments.
