Aviation is a global business operating in 55 countries within 4 global regions, safely providing fuel to over 200 operated sites and over 200 NOJVs. Our frontline operations can vary from a team of ~60 at a major airport through to a team of 2 at a general aviation site, and can be located in major cities through to very remote locations globally.

The Aviation Business Analyst is an integral part of the Asia Pacific Technical Operations team and is responsible for the preparation of Joint Venture (JV) Accounts for a variety of JV's across Australia and New Zealand.

They are also responsible for assisting with other administrative duties in the support of the Technical Operations team in the Asia Pacific Region and Globally where required.

Roles & Accountabilities-

Preparation of 1H, 2H, Year End Estimate and Budget Reconciliation for each site. Management of monthly prepayments and preparation of six-monthly prepayment journals and six-monthly adjustment journals for all sites. Preparation of Operations Commitee meeting documentation.

  • Take minutes for JV Operations Commitee meetings.
  • Plan and scope streamlining of Administration duties across Australia and New Zealand.
  • Manage FSII (fuel additive) ordering Australia wide.
  • Purchase order creation.
  • Vendor entry into relevant payment systems.
  • Technical Service Agreement and throughput invoice creation, including Non-Operated Joint Venture (NOJV) monthly invoicing.
  • NOJV Capex forecasting, monitoring and reporting.
  • Monthly review of JV budgets against actual spending.

Experience and Qualifications-

  • Ability to Work unsupervised and meet critical deadlines.
  • Good communication skills to support remote members of the team and communicate with internal and external parties.
  • Knowledge of databases and their management.
  • Knowledge of JV accounts and reconciliation.
  • Ability to train other team members in tasks and where systems change.
  • Experience in SAP, Ariba and other payment systems.
  • Experience in database management.

Key Stakeholder –

The technical Operations team is made up of a variety of different teams who are responsible for the safe and reliable operations of the business in Asia pacific. Some of the parts of this team you will deal with include:

  • JV team for JV account creation and reconciliation
  • General Aviation Operations Team
  • Major Airport Operations Team
  • Air BP management team for administration support
