Senior Delivery Manager
In this role You will:
- Facilitate SCRUM ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives, Backlog Refinement, and Release Planning
- Lead Scrum-of-Scrums and cross-squad syncs to manage dependencies
- Remove impediments and protect teams from delivery blockers
- Maintain delivery plans, roadmaps, and achievement tracking
- Manage resource allocation (developers, testers) and capacity planning
- Coordinate scope control, change management, and RAID logs
- Use Azure DevOps for backlog management, dashboards, pipelines, and reporting
- Monitor flow metrics (lead time, cycle time, efficiency, velocity)
- Ensure compliance with CI/CD pipelines, quality gates, and release governance
- Act as a bridge between Project Managers and delivery squads
- Manage stakeholder expectations, priorities, and communication across all levels
- Align delivery with business value, objectives and key results, and strategic roadmaps
- Support testing strategy (unit, integration, functional, UAT, non-functional)
- Ensure adherence to information security, data protection, and compliance standards
- Drive incident management, root cause analysis, and reliability practices
- Maintain documentation (runbooks, operating procedures) and knowledge repositories
- Coach and mentor team members; foster a culture of continuous improvement
What You will need to be successful:
- 3+ years in Agile delivery/project management within a DevOps environment
- Proven experience facilitating SCRUM ceremonies and managing distributed, multicultural teams
- Strong proficiency in Azure DevOps (Boards, Pipelines, Dashboards)
- Familiarity with AWS and Azure environments (cloud fundamentals, deployment, security)
- Understanding of object-oriented development principles; ability to collaborate effectively in Java and Python contexts
- Experience in resource planning, delivery scheduling, and performance tracking
- Ability to coordinate testers and developers, ensuring quality and timely delivery
- Awareness of Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI) and Microsoft 365 for reporting and collaboration
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in English (Hungarian is a plus)
