Summary!
Competitiveness & Transformation Execution Project Manager (PMO) leads execution of large-scale projects across Asia Pacific region in areas of Procurement competitiveness improvement, transformation and automation for Upstream and Downstream Procurement operations. This role requires critical thinking, effective communication, strong project management skills, commercial competence and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising end-to-end project lifecycle including planning, budgeting, resourcing, risk mitigation and reporting.
Roles & Responsibilities!
• Plan, handle and implement procurement initiatives at country level or regional level
• Ensure alignment of local/regional project results with global standards and frameworks
• Define scope, objectives, results and timelines for each project, while ensuring adherence to corporate policies and procedures
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with project delivery, including operational, financial and reputational risks
• Collaborate with customers to develop comprehensive organizational change plans, including training programs and user guides
• Supervise vendor selection process, contract negotiation and contract administration for key technology vendors supporting transformation efforts
• Develop detailed implementation plans, including prioritization, schedules and budgets
• Lead regular status meetings to supervise progress against project goals and achievements
• Supervise and report on key performance indicators (critical metrics) related to project success
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience or experience in business administration, engineering, computer science or field
• Experience in project management, preferably in Procurement domain
• Excellent analytical skills
• Strong leadership abilities to drive project teams towards achieving desired outcomes
• Experience working in multinational companies with diverse cultural backgrounds
• Ability to efficiently communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and project management tools such as JIRA or Trello
• Proven track record to thrive in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple priorities simultaneously.
