Sourcing Lead – EV

In this role You will:

• Lead competitive tenders for Construction activities in Europe and USA.

• Manage the sourcing approval process in line with both Regional and Global governance requirements.

• Perform supplier screening/prequalification and monitor/manage the process status as per the related guidelines.

• Coordinate the sourcing projects/events (RFI/RFP/e-auction).

• Manage the supplier interactions and relationship throughout the sourcing project.

• Coordinate the bid evaluation with technical and commercial teams in accordance with policy.

• Develop the Award Recommendation and obtain approvals as per governance framework.

• Negotiate contract and commercial terms with suppliers, within the defined parameters of legal and category guidance.

• Manage the contract execution/signature process per the applicable POA (power of attorney) requirements for each bp entity.

• Negotiate contract amendments with suppliers.

What You need to be successful:

• Bachelors’ degree or equivalent experience is required (preferably in business studies)

• 5+ years of practical and application experience in end-to-end sourcing of services and commodities, drafting and negotiating contracts and legal terms, sourcing strategy preparation, coupled with a strong commercial orientation and interpersonal skills

• Fluency in English, additional German knowledge is an advantage

• Proven knowledge and relevant sourcing experience in Design & Construction services

• Experience in Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure field will be an advantage.

• Track record of successful Procurement delivery in complex, challenging international environments

• Familiarity with Ariba, Salesforce and Fairmarkit systems for procurement processes.

• Experience using PowerBI or similar data analytics tool

• Proven experience with contract creation, negotiations and life-cycle management

• Strong influencing and negotiation skills

• Analytical abilities including marketplace and financial analysis

• Critical thinking and ability to propose sourcing strategies

• Global / international business experience
