We are currently looking for P&C Sr Advisor based at Patalganga with details mentioned below.

Let me tell you about the role!

The role holder will be leading the People and Culture Agenda for Patalganga Site as well as act as GSC Integrator for India Supply Chain.

The role is to partner with line managers to deliver the full people plan in support of the business delivery. Whilst experience of the full employee life cycle is required, for this role particular focus lies in the areas of capability talent management, employee engagement, DE&I and coaching/developing and working with the other centre of expertise in the P&C wider team. Role holder shall also act as coach to Supply chain team, and a champion for team effectiveness and ‘who we are’. They will also support and work in partnership with other senior business partners in the delivery of P&C initiatives for the business

What you will deliver

Patalganga Site - People and Culture

• HR Operations: Lead all HR operational activities, ensuring efficient processes and compliance with policies and regulations.

• Learning and Development: Identify skill gaps and implement learning and development initiatives to build organizational capability.

• Focus@bp - Performance Management: Lead the performance management process, ensuring goal alignment, regular reviews, and performance-driven culture.

• Onboarding: Manage the onboarding process to ensure a smooth integration of new employees into the organization.

• Recruitment: Lead end-to-end recruitment processes to attract, select, and onboard top talent in line with organizational needs.

• Reward and Recognition: Develop and implement reward and recognition programs to motivate and retain high-performing employees.

• Contingent Management: Manage the engagement, deployment, and performance of contingent workforce to support business needs efficiently.

• Engagement: Work with Plant Manager and Site Leadership Team to drive the Engagement Agenda and Engagement action Plan for the site.

Employee Relations

• Employee Discipline: Supervise the enforcement of employee discipline frameworks, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies.

• Employee Relations: Build and nurture positive employee relations to foster a collaborative and productive work environment.

• Grievance Redressal: Establish and manage grievance handling mechanisms to ensure timely and fair resolution of employee concerns.

• Union Relations: Foster constructive relations with unions, enabling amicable negotiations and maintaining industrial harmony.

• Apprenticeship and Training: Oversee the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of apprenticeship and training programs to enhance workforce capabilities.

• Statutory Liaisoning and Compliance: Ensure all statutory compliance requirements are met through proactive liaison with regulatory bodies.

• Attendance and Payroll: Ensure the accurate and timely management of attendance records and payroll processing in compliance with organizational policies and statutory requirements.

• Contract Labour Management: Oversee contractor workforce administration, ensuring compliance with statutory norms and fair practices.

• Mediclaim: Administer mediclaim policies for employees, ensuring seamless coverage and efficient claim settlement.

Commercial Management

• Budget Management: Develop, monitor, and control HR departmental budgets, ensuring optimal allocation and utilization of resources.

• OHC (Occupational Health Centre): Oversee the operations of the OHC, ensuring workplace health and safety standards are maintained.

• Security: Supervise all aspects of physical and data security, safeguarding company assets and personnel.

• Canteen: Supervise canteen operations to provide hygienic and quality food services while maintaining cost efficiency.

• Commercial Compliance: Ensure adherence to commercial laws, policies, and best practices within all HR functions and vendor dealings.

• Coordinating Company Events etc.: Lead the planning and execution of company events, fostering engagement and a positive organizational culture.

• Employee Transport Management: Supervise employee transport services, ensuring safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

• Employee Welfare: Drive employee welfare programs aimed at promoting well-being, engagement, and job satisfaction.

• Gardening: Oversee the maintenance and beautification of company premises through effective gardening and landscaping services.

• Housekeeping: Ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained across all company facilities.

• Stationery: Oversee procurement and distribution of stationery, ensuring uninterrupted supply for all departments.

• Telephones: Administer telephone and communication systems, ensuring reliability and cost control.

• OCC Target - Cost Saving: Drive operational cost control (OCC) initiatives to achieve targeted cost savings without compromising service quality.

CSR and Communication

• Corporate Social Responsibility: Drive CSR initiatives in alignment with company values, ensuring community engagement and compliance with legal mandates.

• Employee Communications: Develop and implement effective communication strategies, ensuring transparency and alignment across the organization.

India Supply Chain - People and Culture

• People Advisor to PU Supply Chain Manager: Partner with PU Supply Chain Manager and GSC Core Team to align HR strategies with business objectives.

• Campus Relations: Foster relationships with universities to attract emerging supply chain talent.

• Capability Development: Identify skill gaps and implement programs for ongoing employee development.

• Contingent Worker Management: Oversee the efficient deployment and performance of contingent staff for India Supply Chain.

• Diversity Champion and ERG Coordinator: Promote diversity and inclusion through ERG activities and initiatives.

• Grow@bp: Leverage internal platforms to support employee learning and career growth.

• Lead Employee Relations: Lead Employee relations for India by working closely with Plant P&C Advisor on Employee Relations and supporting Negotiation approvals and Negotiation strategies.

• LRMS Coordination for GSC India: Ensure compliance and manage labor relations systems for GSC India.

• Recognition: Develop and implement programs to reward and acknowledge employee achievements.

• Succession Planning: Identify and develop future leaders to ensure business continuity.

• Talent Acquisition: Manage recruitment to attract and hire top talent for supply chain roles.

• Talent Management: Support employee growth and retention through targeted talent initiatives.

• Employee Engagement: Drive engagement initiatives to boost morale and commitment.

• Employee Communications: Deliver clear, timely communications to keep employees informed and connected.

• Focus@bp: Lead performance management to align individual goals with business strategy.
