We are currently looking for Program Manager - India Supply Chain based at Mumbai with details mentioned below.
Let me tell you about the role!
We are seeking a dynamic professional to join the Castrol India Supply Chain team, responsible for handling Key Programs of Global Supply Chain including Operational Cost Competitiveness (OCC), Product Cost Competitiveness (PCC), Digital, Transformation and any other identified per business priorities. This role also involves driving continuous improvement across logistics, planning, product and raw material portfolios, supply chain networks, manufacturing sites, and digital capabilities.
What you will deliver
Lead and handle a portfolio of transformation and competitiveness projects for Castrol India Supply Chain.
• Drive efficiency and value capture by ensuring timely and effective execution of initiatives at the functional level.
• Act as the central interface across Castrol India and global teams to ensure visibility, continuity, and smooth handover of projects.
• Apply project management standard processes and mentor team members on execution excellence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in Supply Chain, Procurement, Marketing, Technology, and Performance Units to align and maximize project outcomes.
• Track and report value delivery through structured reporting mechanisms.
• Ensure adherence to PMO standards, including regular status updates and governance reporting.
• Manage the OCC/PCC/Digital Transformation project pipeline, prioritizing high-value initiatives and coordinating stakeholder commitments.
• Embed loss analysis methodology across the supply chain and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Facilitate workshops and provide tools/templates to support a robust 3-year loss view from a global perspective.
• Maintain visibility and momentum of the opportunity pipeline.
• Present cost-efficiency recommendations to executive leadership for alignment and implementation.
• Develop and maintain the OCC/PCC playbook, ensuring consistent use of processes, templates, and best practices.
• Under OCC:
- Deliver sustained cost reductions and operational excellence in manufacturing and logistics.
- Drive and embed loss analysis to support continuous improvement.
- Support strategic network optimization for a simplified and fit-for-purpose footprint
• Under PCC:
- Manage the Integrated Portfolio Management Framework.
- Optimize the global product portfolio for complexity, differentiation, and value.
- Streamline raw materials and additives to enable base oil flexibility and enhance supply chain agility.
What will make you successful
Mandatory:
- Graduate in any discipline.
- 6–8 years of experience in project management or supply chain management.
- 1–2 years of experience leading digital transformation projects in supply chain.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes.
- Proven problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
Preferred:
- Postgraduate or management degree in Supply Chain.
- Experience managing global teams and complex, cross-functional projects.
- Ability to lead and influence change in a matrix organization.
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to travel per project
- Self-motivated, innovative, and result oriented.
- Advanced analytical and communication skills (verbal, written, presentation).
- Proficiency in tools such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Power Automate, and SharePoint.
