Join our Team and advance your career as a Staff Project Manager
Staff Project Managers are responsible for managing budget, timelines, scope, and quality of the technology solutions and products they deliver, working collaboratively with internal squads, external teams, and vendor partners.
The role will also be responsible for resourcing the project with required skills and capabilities, capacity management of squads and actively managing risks and issues encountered during project delivery.
This role will be primarily involved in Refining Supply & Midstream with a focus on Global Integrated Pricing initiatives, accountable for requirements analysis and management, determining the most appropriate means to represent business requirements in the context of technology features and capabilities for the product, platform functions and features and overall digital solution.
In this role You will:
Develop and maintain a clear project plan with scope, timeline, and deliverables
Oversee squad staffing and optimize resource allocation, including vendor management
Manage schedules, milestones, and delivery using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methods
Project Financial Management including monthly reporting, quarterly accruals
Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
Act as primary contact for stakeholders and teams
Provide regular updates via reports and presentations
Ensure quality standards and continuous improvement
Handle scope changes and adapt plans as needed
Oversee final delivery and project handover
Conduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned
What You will need to be successful:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (or higher) in relevant field or formal certification in fields of computer science / information technology / science or Mathematics.
8–10 years of project management experience
Skilled in planning, budgeting, and execution using tools like Azure DevOps
Experience integration of various enterprise systems (example ERP / SAP, SalesForce, PROS)
Experience in data analytics would be an advantage
Knowledge of cybersecurity in large tech environments
Proven leadership of cross-functional teams and vendors
Excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders
Experienced in change management and user adoption
Strong problem-solving and decision-making under pressure
Able to report progress and champion best practices
Desirable criteria:
SAP system integration knowledge
Agile/Scrum proficiency (ceremonies, roles, methods)
Strong budget and financial management skills
Data governance and compliance expertise
Culturally aware and collaborative
Continuous improvement mindset
Energy industry experience is a plus
