About the Commercial Track within Supply, Trading, and Shipping:
The Supply, Trading & Shipping Graduate Development Program in the Chicago office supports the refining & products trading Americas (rptA) business. rptA is part of bp’s Trading and Shipping organization, the commercial face to the traded markets in the Americas. Supply, Trading & Shipping (ST&S) is bp's face to the traded markets in oil, gas, power, chemicals, renewables and finance. ST&S's role is to improve bp Group value through distinctive supply, commodity trading, risk management and technology skills. This is underpinned by outstanding analytics, finance, control and compliance infrastructure. ST&S has a dynamic and highly skilled workforce, which builds value by combining analysis and commercial innovation with the material asset base of bp.

Graduates will build a solid understanding of global energy markets including exposure to trading, physical operations and analytics throughout their three rotations. This includes building and maintaining key relationships and developing unique commodity solutions to address bp’s and our customers’ business needs. After the 3-year rotational program, the Commercial Graduate will be matched with roles that collaborate to build a globally diversified portfolio that accesses new markets, commodities and commercial opportunities for ST&S.
