You will collaborate with the teams responsible for delivering Salesforce related project and the Salesforce platform team. You will be responsible for developing high quality products with a customer focus, contributing to best practices, advocating reusability, in a secure, reliable and scalable way.

As Senior Software Engineer, we are technical specialists, who mentor and coach, providing guidance and support to the team, while encouraging a positive and productive work environment. We provide project and squad goals, prioritize and complete initiatives, and deliver results in a product-led, empowered environment. Our ability to lead multiple collaborators, and our software development and engineering experience are important for success in this role.

What you will deliver

• Design and document sophisticated software components, services, and platforms, while implementing robust, code with clear documentation.

• Deliver customer value iteratively, serve as a technical expert, and drive projects end-to-end. Communicating status and changes to stakeholders, designing test automation, and collaborating with internal and external teams to bring new platforms to market are key responsibilities.

• Maintain and enhance software frameworks, mentor other engineers, participate in code reviews, and resolve platform-related issues.

• Support audit teams for security, software licensing, and regulatory audits, and implement new controls and procedures to address compliance gaps or risks.

What you will need to be successful (experience and qualifications)

• Proven experience in supporting production systems.

• Strong application design skills combined with strong data, integration, and security architecture skills

• Expert in core cloud services including identity platforms, networking, storage, databases, containers, and serverless.

• Skilled in troubleshooting large-scale distributed production systems.

• Experience in core web technologies including HTML5, JavaScript and jQuery

• Software engineering skills with Java, JSF, SQL preferred

• Development experience working on Salesforce platforms preferred

• Contributes and collaborates to the design, implementation, and maintenance of reliable and scalable products and applications

• Defines, implements, and enforces platform-wide standards and processes to ensure integrity of the applications within the platform

• Responsible for deploying secure and well-tested software that meets privacy and compliance requirements; Consumes approved DevSecOps enabled CI/CD pipelines.

• Adheres to agile methodology and operates and builds DevOps maturity. Ensuring delivery of business incremental change safely and reliably

• Passionate about mentoring and coaching engineers in technical and soft skills.

• Product-centric mindset to understand business needs and design scalable systems and solutions.

• Strong empathy and curiosity to create exceptional user experiences.

• Self-starter with excellent communication skills, adept at handling ambiguity, navigating uncertainty, and influencing peers to senior leaders.
