For you this means working with us on:
- Compliance – efficiently delivering external reporting requirements to ensure we continue to meet our regulatory obligations in all jurisdictions, supported by robust control environment across all lines of defense.
- Stewardship – laying out a robust finance framework and providing ongoing management of the balance sheet and portfolio execution, supported by effective advocacy to the market.
- Performance – facilitating the effective allocation of capital, development of business plans and coordination of business performance interventions to ensure a consistent delivery between strategic aspirations, operational forecasts and delivered outcomes. Furthermore, you will be responsible for value creation through mergers and acquisition-led deals, commercial negotiations and integration of business opportunities.
- Transformation – driving digital transformation (centralizing, digitizing, optimizing) across all elements of the finance entity to achieve sector-leading cost-performance.
About the Role
This role is part of the Finance Business and Technology (FBT), ERP Transformation Team, a team whose objectives underpin the overall Finance vision of creating and protecting value through innovation, insight, and stewardship. The team’s objectives are to lead the efforts to establish a single global ERP Financial business template that will incorporate standardized global processes, a common data taxonomy and simplify our ERP landscape. This includes partnering with Technology and global and business stakeholders to also manage interdependent processes and tools for an agile, consistent, and collaborative execution of change.
As the Transformation Deployment Manager for C&P Finance, you will play a critical role in supporting the end-to-end deployment of the SAP global financial business template, ensuring alignment to fit-to-standard requirements and seamless interaction across various functions. Additionally, you will drive successful project outcomes and ensure project benefits realization by exhibiting strong leadership and deep technical and business expertise in C&P and partnership with ST&S.

What You Will Deliver
- Support the planning, execution, and management of the finance core deployment across global, regional and local operations.
- Ensure alignment to the global financial template - calling out gaps through established finance/entity governance.
- Proactively track and support the resolution of associated deployment risks and collaborate to safeguard business & financial controls.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and integrated partnerships across not only our integrated finance teams, but also technology, C&P, and ST&S, thus promoting standard processes and eliminating duplication or customization where warranted.
- Partner with the C&P senior deployment lead to coordinate activity across all program workstreams (entity, change, process, data, technology) to ensure adequate management of integration points, dependencies, and risks.
- Collaborate to develop/maintain an agile and sustainable operating model, including a strong connection with the finance change team to implement effective change , ensuring business readiness, end-user adoption and adequate training programs.
- Provide transparency and clear purpose for retrofits to global standard and to ensure identified deltas to the standard are reviewed and endorsed.
- Enable an integrated data approach to maintain consistent data standards and align around conversion cycles and data cleansing efforts.
- Collaborate with the FBT enabling solutions teams to ensure requirements from current ECC the future S/4 are understood and addressed within the fit to standard design.
- Ensure alignment of finance’s roles and responsibilities as it pertains to entity early life support (ELS).
- Develop KPIs to measure progress and entry and exit criteria for ELS.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
- Experience in SAP deployments with specific focus in financial processes and data
- Knowledge of C&P and ST&S - specific knowledge of hydrocarbon finance, operational and regulatory complexities
- Ability with implementing process & organizational change, including continuous improvement, in a large-scaled project environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Good understanding and experience in working with FBT or similar centralized Finance functions
- Outstanding ability to prioritize and work in a fast paced and demanding project environment
- Up to 10% travel should be expected with this role
Desirables
- Knowledge of S/4 HANA finance processes
- Good knowledge of bp SAP ECC environments, key integration points and historical context
- Awareness of processes and financial data flows of the current bp SAP ECC templates (i.e. global financial template GFT and Americas financial template AFT) and business impacts
- Solid understanding of the fuels value chain, financialization of Customer and Products processes, and the integration with Trading and Shipping

How much do we pay (Base)? ($134,000.00 - 250,000.00) *Note that the pay range listed for this position is a genuinely expected and reasonable estimate of the range of possible base compensation at the time of posting.
This position is eligible for US Benefits – Core. This position offers paid vacation depending on your years of relevant industry experience and will range from 120 – 240 hours of vacation per year for full time employees (60 - 240 hours of vacation per year for part time employees). You will also be eligible for 9 paid holidays per year and 2 personal choice holidays.
