Job Description:

About the role

You will work with the Hardware Planning and Performance Manager and a team of product Specialists to support the growth of the bp pulse charging network by providing a standardized and simple portfolio of safe, reliable and cost-effective hardware configurations that deliver a great customer experience.

What you will deliver

  • Supporting the product life-cycle management of our hardware components: Covering High-Power Chargers, Payment Systems, Load/Energy Management, Ancillary Products (Data Networks, WiFi, CCTV); Managing Onboarding and Delivery of hardware components; Managing maintenance and incident resolution; Managing decommissioning of hardware

  • Maintaining a data-based cost-benefit analysis for all hardware components from a global perspective

  • Conducting market analysis (customer and technology trends, competitor and industry activities) to inform hardware strategy

  • Working closely with other (Lead) Product Specialists to provide optimized hardware configurations to the business

What you will need to be successful

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Strong knowledge of EV charging technologies and EV charging networks

  • Knowledge of energy management systems and technologies preferable

  • Knowledge 0f payment systems preferable

  • Experience in product management for industrial goods

Education, Qualifications & Certifications:

  • Business, Economics, STEM degree, MBA or equivalent experience

Other:

  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills
