P&C Senior Manager, Europe & Partnering EMEA

The role is responsible for leading, developing, and motivating a team of flexible pooled P&C partnering resources to execute agreed people priorities and P&C initiatives across key areas of the bp organisation. The role involves using agile methodologies to ensure cost-effective delivery of initiatives, partnering with senior business leaders to drive business performance, and collaborating across the People & Culture function to deliver the people strategy. The role requires strong leadership, partner management, and the ability to drive organizational change in complex environments.

In this role You will:

  • Translate entity people plan into sub-entity context and turn into actionable activities.
  • Partner with senior leaders to define the sub-entity specific strategic people needs.
  • Align and allocate partnering resources to execute agreed initiatives in line with agreed timelines and constraints
  • Lead, coach, and engage partnering resources to enable growth and development
  • Complete agreed priorities into sub-entity, using and leading partnering resources and CoE resources as required.
  • Drive the migration of P&C activity to Business and Technology Centres, focusing on efficiency through migration of activity and automation while ensuring the provision of end-to-end P&C services to the relevant business/sub-entity meets the strategic needs of the business.
  • Coach senior leaders to drive required leadership, culture, and talent outcomes.
  • Leverage data and insights to enable prioritization and future-focused thinking.
  • Develop talent, capability, culture, and organizational effectiveness initiatives in partnership with the relevant CoEs.

What You will need to be successful:

  • Relevant higher education.
  • Minimum of 10 -15 years’ experience across a range of people & culture fields within commercial and operational environments. Proven experience in customer service management
  • Experience of coaching and influencing senior executives to reach agreed outcomes.
  • Experience in driving talent, culture, and engagement for the future of the business.
  • High business context, transformational skills, and trading commercial knowledge.
  • Advanced knowledge of multiple facets of people & culture, with experience as a senior-level business partner.
  • Experience of driving successful people outcomes in complex, geographically dispersed, and culturally diverse organizations.
  • Experience in developing and driving commercially focused people strategies.
  • Experience of driving innovative, organizational change in complex, ambiguous environments.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and tools is desirable.
