What you will deliver
We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Data Analyst to join our Ariba Buying Channel team.
In this role, you will support the design, deployment, and continuous improvement of SAP Ariba buying channels to deliver Auto-PO transactions and price compliance outcomes. You will work multi-functionally within the Procurement S2C organization to identify Auto-PO opportunities, qualify those opportunities, and coordinate delivery activities belonging to various implementation teams!
Key responsibilities:
PowerBI Product Owner: Work with Performance Intelligence team to develop detailed dashboard requirements.
Analyse spend: Conduct spend analysis to identify strong use cases for Ariba buying channels – e.g. repeated purchases of Goods / Services from Supplier. Package analysis to support senior colleagues in internal team member engagements.
Monitor & Report: Monitor adoption metrics, e.g. Auto-PO, Invoice-against-contract, P-card transaction rates, Buying channel utilization rates – identify gaps in adoption and work with the wider team to develop organizational change interventions.
Run & Maintain: Monitor required maintenance activities, e.g. Touch policies, PSL QSL lists, Contract expiry dates. Support calendar-based review and refresh cycles by engaging with our counterpart teams in FP Category Management, FBT Category Management.
Stakeholder Support: Provide analytical support for internal engagements with Category, Sourcing.
What you will need to be successful (experience and qualifications)
Skills requirements:

Analytical Tools & Platforms:
Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI for developing interactive dashboards and reports.
Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas.
Experience with SQL for data querying and manipulation.
Familiarity with Python or R for advanced analytics (preferred but not required).
Procurement Systems Knowledge:
Experience with Source-to-Contract platforms

Solid grasp of data cleaning, normalization, and quality control practices.
Ability to work with large, complex datasets from multiple sources

Communication & Collaboration:
Strong storytelling and data visualization skills to optimally communicate insights.
Comfortable addressing senior stakeholders and influencing decisions with data

Other Considerations:
Self-starter with a problem-solving approach and a keen eye for process improvement.
Understanding of procurement important metrics and contract management workflows.
Detailed, organized, and fast paced.
Experience requirements:
3 – 5 years in roles with relevant scopes of work.
Academic requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience from an accredited university.
