Functional Analyst (m/f/d) Concrete Design
Do you want to bring your structural engineering expertise into the development of modern engineering software? Then join our Concrete Design Team and help shape the next generation of design software for reinforced concrete structures.
You will work at the intersection of engineering and software development, with a direct impact on how engineers design and verify structures in their daily work.
Your role
As a Functional Analyst, you translate complex structural verifications into clear, actionable requirements for our developers. You make sure that theory, code provisions, and engineering practice come together in our software.
Your responsibilities
Analyze and structure design and verification methods for reinforced concrete structures according to Eurocode 2, including national annexes
Translate engineering methods into clear functional requirements and specifications for software development
Work closely with developers and provide technical support throughout implementation
Create reference, comparison, and benchmark examples for verification purposes
Test new features and review the correctness of implemented structural checks
Ensure that our software is not only code-compliant, but also practical and user-oriented
Monitor new developments in structural engineering and standardization and bring them into the product
Support technical documentation and knowledge preparation for users
What you bring
Very good university degree in civil engineering, ideally with a focus on structural engineering / concrete structures
Several years of experience in structural design for building construction
Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete design and Eurocode 2
Ability to present complex technical issues in a clear and structured way
Interest in translating engineering expertise into software functionality
Good English skills (we work in an international team)
- You are based either in Prague, Brno or Bratislava (this is a hybrid role)
Nice to have
Experience with reinforced concrete design software
Initial exposure to software development, requirements engineering, or testing
Interest in digitalization in the construction industry
Good German skills (our current main market is Germany)
How you work
In close collaboration with developers, product owners, and other technical colleagues
With a high degree of ownership and room to contribute your own ideas
In an environment that values both technical depth and pragmatic solutions
What you can expect
Exciting work at the interface of civil engineering and software
Products with real impact on the day-to-day work of structural engineers
An interdisciplinary, increasingly international team
Modern development processes and short decision-making paths
Space for your own ideas and professional growth
