Acelab is the all-in-one building materials hub for the Architecture, Construction, and Engineering industry. Acelab streamlines material selection, comparison, and management for architects and engineers with AI-powered product recommendations. Conversely, Acelab empowers building material suppliers and manufacturers to unlock specification growth by providing them a strategic Go-to-Market channel to accelerate their product adoption.
Our team is seeking an AEC Technology Manager, with project delivery and business development experience in the architecture or construction industry. You will play an important role supporting our AEC Customer Experience Team by providing our growing base of AEC companies with a seamless experience through onboarding, library implementation, material design support, and vendor connection services.
What you'll do:
- Support our Senior Director of CX to build lasting relationships with AEC companies using Acelab's Materials Hub, a materials management platform
- Collaborate with the other members of the CX team to drive firm-wide adoption of Materials Hub and deliver clear outcomes for our users on their projects and materials decision-making.
- Provide a smooth onboarding experience for AEC companies by coordinating with our implementation team and managing clear next steps to keep their accounts moving forward.
- Foster strong, ongoing relationships via regular check-ins with AEC partners to learn about their product, project, and library needs
- Drive connections between architecture firms and building product manufacturers
- Provide feedback and brainstorm solutions with our Product and Materials Data teams to respond to recurring user pain points and improve the overall user experience.
- 2+ years of full-time experience in AEC, project delivery, or project management in the US
- Optional: 2+ years of full-time customer support or account management experience
- A quality understanding of how architects research, detail, and specify building products
- Appetite and excitement for business development, including sales, deal-making, and account support
- Entrepreneurial and collaborative mindset focused on building relationships both remote and in-person
- Highly organized with strong follow-up and task management skills.
